I finally got it! JG's Believe...yay...*sigh*
I typed out a half of a world issues reflection...was like living out memories.
So much math. Why has it become so integrated in our lifestyle that we can't survive it. To become a poet or at least a fairly good one, we must count the syllables in our iambic pentameters. Though I doubt we'll ever use the log function or sine, cosine and tangent. Even worse is secant, cosecant and cotagent -- they're not even on our calculator. How about "sigama"? Or even parabolas which by now, seem so simple. The most horriblest of the horrible are the so called - "imaginary numbers"--if they're not supposed to exist, why do they actually exist? And non-euclidian (spelling) geometry has a certain philosphical aspect to it. Supposedly, a triangle may not even have three sides. Actually the series stuff might be useful. I had to use it once already.
Philo horrible -- mystery in class assignment was actually a timed in class paragraph...oh how I hate those! and that Mr. Marshall guy was really wasting our time.
I'm such a loser. Talking about school all the time. I have no life. I don't. So I'll blog out my frustation.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
. ah. that is sufficient. for now.
just now.
There's so much to celebrate.
Decorations finally up.
Didn't get a lecture supplementaire book yet. Whoops...sorry I won't say another thing about school.
Actually forget it. My life is school. I have no choice. By accepting IB, I sacrifice my life.
Oh ceiling holes of third floor, Vic Park...what wonders lie in there. Rats, roaches...or creatures of an unnameable sort.
*sigh*...I will put up some JG pics soon so watch out!
Done. Bye.

One month 'til Christmas...*sigh* "Please excuse Johnny for being. It was his father's fault" "Please excuse Dorkus (OCC:what a name). She was doing the doctor". "King Phillip called out for gay strippers" or "King Phillip came over for great sex"-- its a mneomic to help help us remember the hierachy of classification -- kingdom, phylum, class, order, family, genus, species...science teachers...lol...poor King Phillip. I need Anija to send me "Believe"...I'm dying here.... Arguing in World Issues -- magnificent.. Shamima was talking today about Mr. Pascoe's bias and unhindered favouration. He doesn't hide it either. Pringol loves energetic music...
Done. Bye.

Pringol's ramblings:
"Why do they have month anniversaries...they're supposed to be annual things...next thing you know there'll be 1 minute anniversaries or second anniversaries"...
I am her counsellor...she'll get through this Valentin depression with me...after all I have a PhD in psychology...a course i took in French! =)
Me and Shamima actually completed four question of math in class today.
Boring day in school. Late start tomorrow. Nothing much to say.
Done. Bye.

Don't listen to Pringol...what I want even more than what she says I want is The ROTK Extended version which comes out on Dec. 14 which I'll prob. buy with my christmas money from Gramps in Australia.
Done. Bye.

"And they shined so brightly...diamonds in the sky"
Saturday:
I'm always one day behind, aren't I? Well I spent about 3 hours catching up on the math homework that i didn't do. I'm still not fully caught up. But whatever.
Went to Jeban Uncle's birthday. I played Mario Party 4 for about a half-hour with four year olds who were sadly beating me. Then, after about 4 years, I read picture books with Steph (last pic book I read was in gr. 7). "Jeremie mange du sphagetti" and something about a girl and her brother in a mall. I watched spy kids 3, five minutes of the tuxedo, and a half hour of shanghai noon.
"I am the one"
OMG! Elijah Wood is so hillarious with his two minute role in Spy Kids 3. His face, to me, seems distorted and hideous...and very scary. Of course Steph was commenting on cute he was about every 5 seconds of his small role.
Today:
"Little boy, don't grow up. Stay as sweet as you are.."
Santa Claus Parade -- today-- I've always, always missed it because of eglise, but yo u know, it prob. gets boring after a while.
Did 3 hours of french hw. I feel depressed after reading the article.

Friday:
for some reason I wrote out an entry...but it got deleted...oh wellperz...lemme try and remember what happened.
Okay:
TAP day...got report cards...t'was ok...because Philosophy: Theory of Knowledge is a gr. 12 class, we got to go to the university presentation only to find out mid-way that it was only and strictly ONLY for students graduating...I have no clue why...we were told to leave by some person...I don't remember who, so we rose up as a whole class and left, leaving the other students and the presenter, our vice principal, puzzled. Actually the vice principal asked, "What's going on?" as we all left who was replied with silence. That was quite fun.
Ebola Virus video- scary and sickening
Played sharades at lunch.
Pringol told some random kid about Josh Groban in order to earn my forgiveness for insulting him. She told him what a great singer he is and to spread his love...hahahaha...
Debate in world issues -- about population. Oh Joy.
Your radius is showing...double it and you'll get a diameter. Ahhh...IB jokes!
Yay...its that time of year again! Yes...christmas season is beginning. 97.3 is playing christmas songs...I heard JG's Believe today...yay! I was so happy! Its a nice song!
Went shopping for christmas decorations and christmas tree. My dad drives me crazy. He is so indecisive.
Done. Bye.

Dentist appointment- Cleaning and fluoride today...yum...strawberry! I swallowed a bit of that too...
Philo party...for Ms. Rei...who's leaving. I miss the Mock Trial...it was fun...and she marks easy. Played broken telephone - Sharades...was fun...esp. when Yang performed his mating dance for Hanyue. Actually Meeju told Ms. Q to relay the message "Harry Potter" by actions. She made the gesture of a pot...which along the line was thought of as a woman's body...which Doris then interpreted and stated, "Gigalow"...Harry Potter is a gigalow...
I love Ji Yoon's korean-english dictionary...ahhhh its so cool...I want one like that in french...too bad they only sell 'em in Korea!
Supply teacher in french who had a fatal attraction for Pringol as he started prying into her life with a series of questions...awww...how sweet!
Math test back - did pretty well...compared to a couple of my other pathetic results.
The french article about depression is very interesting. It says that people who write in an intimate journal get depressed more easily than people who write autobiographies. Great-oh. I hope blogs don't count.

7:40 PM
I have been lacking sufficient sleep lately...it was all TAR's fault yesterday...two hour episode...wrecked my entire schedule...and I had so much hw too...I abandoned it all to watch it.
Party in philo tom. for student teacher who is leaving on Friday. She's not bad. She was so easy. Harvey's onion rings are so oily...I'm going to puke. Last time i'm eating them.
I now know all my midterm marks. World Issues, Math, ToK, Bio, French -- in order from lowest to highest. Really I do suck. Oh well IB...actually its not too bad. And I know it can't ever be like gr. 10. Aw I miss it! I also miss Mr. Van Bemmel. He rocks! Pringol -- do not make any snide comments. I can bruise you. Easily. Though I do not like being the oppressor.
Mr. Coram sang in World Issues. I can't remember the song.
Lots of francais hw. Gonna go do it! Goombye!
Done. Bye.

"I try my hardest not be biased and present different perspectives"
yes...indeed...Mr. Coram says that...but why does he expect one single thing from our papers...and penalize us if we don't have it...we can't think like him...maybe his goal is to make us coram clones...ok...
I talked to Shamima on MSN...she finally has it.
So much hw. So little time. Finished Bio Lab. Lots of Math Hw. Don't understand bio quiz...
Mr. Zupo is so nasty...eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwww.....he was telling us how he was breastfed until he was 2 and a half...and how he developed teeth...and how he started biting on his mother's nipple...and how he'd help himself voluntarily at public places...very unnecessary details all in order to say that breastmilk is good for newborns.
Ate lunch with Nisha today...I haven't talked her in a long time...her MSN names amuse me...
Anyways I'm out. Bye!
Done. Bye.

Waiting for Siddarth, ooo/So he can get better marks/Waiting for Siddarth, ooo/They'll dream of their dates in the park/Waiting for Siddarth.
Watched A Cinderella Story yesterday since White Chicks and Stepford Wives were all rented out...to my surprise, it wasn't quite bad. I like Hillary Duff better than Lindsay Lohan...Lindsay's become a total slut...and at least that hasn't happened to Hillary...not yet...Hillary's still annoying though. Ugh...
I'm working on bio lab. I hate the IB marking...screw the Vade Mecum...really its pointless! Let's just burn the IB syllabus books and dump the ashes on the IB Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.
I love this weekend. No math homework. Honestly...math hwk. takes 80% of my homework time...without it, I have so much free time. And I still do bad on tests even when I do do my hwk. Great-oh!
I should never ever stay out late anywhere. I came home at 2 a.m. saturday morning from the party and my whole schedule is messed up.
American Music Awards on tonight at 8 p.m. ABC...JG singing! Yay!
Doing chorus singing at church...bye bye!
Done. Bye.

Thank you oh my father, for giving us your son...and leading your spirit 'til the work on Earth is done...
American Music Awards on Sunday...Josh Groban is singing...must watch it! Its probably You Raise Me Up but still...
Yesterday:
Math test. Hard. I know know 3 out 5 of my midterm marks. Actually really 2 but I am estimating my math mark...and they're not bad...for IB...but still...if I do want to get into health sciences...I need super high 95+ averages. I can't even hit 95.
Salimah and Pringz wrote "Waiting For Siddarth", a hit song now, just for Mary. Awwww....how sweet.
Oh well...went to an anniversary party. Not so bad since Steph was there. Watched "Shock" or (Shawku as I like calling it)...tamil movie but scary. I'm such a wimp. I get "scaredest" out of all those little kids for the littlest things. And the girl was so fake. At least I did sleep the night.
Done. Bye.

Yes!...I am an IB rebel. Me & Pringz. walked out of world issues class 5 minutes(count them...5...that's about 300 seconds) earlier than we were supposed too. And don't believe anything Pringol says about getting permission and all...poor kid...blow to the head...must have messed up her mind.
Math test tomorrow! Today math was funny with Ms. Li. So dramatic...nothing like this ever happens in IB. Bunch of kids were trying to describe to her how they never knew when eid was (so they couldn't warn her before that they'd be away on the day of math test) and it was calculated done using the moon. "If they use the moon, why don't you do it during the evening," she replied. I'm never going to forget that quote. People were planning to make a petition how they thought it wasn't fair that the Assignment was worth 15%...math may get just a little more interesting from now on. It still sucks though. Ms. Li also said, "If you don't like the way I teach, go find another teacher".
I failed my Group Bio Lab. 53%...marked IB style! oh well!
Remembrance Day Assembly...Pretty good actually...
My bag was dumped in the recycling bin! The nerve! I was victimized again!
Done. Bye.

Yay...failed a math test...oh well...my french mark is back in the 80s again thanks to what i think Ms. Angelidis must of marked in a day of her being in a super mood.
Pringol's red eye scares me!
Going to do TOK. Bye bye!

"I'm the American United States of America...I mean President...of The United...America...States...I mean..." -- lol Kathy as George Bush.
Actually wait there's more.
Kathy as George Bush: It was horrible...
Rochelle as Prosecution Lawyer: Can you expand on that?
Kathy: It was terrible.
Just wanted to write that down. Anyways...we're learning "stigmata" notation in math...it's very confusing...but o well...bio test was weird...multiple choice...so many names...ahhh head spinning.
Pringol can't handle any pain. And besides, I clearly asked her for my photo back...even if she denies it ;). Oh well Pringz...that bruise shall be a temporary reminder of great memories ;).
Shamima was telling me about this supply teacher who's in the acting business -- he'd advertise too in class. "Come see me play happening in the Hummingbird Centre"...he'd say. So Shamima's going to and sit down, and say to the person beside her with pride, "You see that guy over there. He was my supply teacher".
Ms. Li told Nida last year to not study too much because she, in her high school years rejected many dates...I couldn't stop laughing when I heard this...
I however am rejecting some very ultra-cool party invitations...like the one Pringol gave me. Oh well...the sacrifices I have to make...
Done. Bye.

We were meant to live for so much more -- have we lost it all?
Watched Day After Tomorrow. It was good...not great...sort of cheesy...like predictable...and stuff...but yea...the special effects weren't all that great either...(esp. the wolves)...but it yea...I liked the ending...so ironic...
A penny for your thoughts?
Math. I hate it. I really do.
Now I understand, what you tried to say to me.
Talked to Steph about this nonsense going on and all the feelings of anger. Tamil people...we're so messed.
The thoughts are all I have to do.
I want to hear Josh Groban's song for the Polar Express...it's called BELIEVE...someone send it to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe he was on Oprah and I missed it...and I wouldn't have known that this happened at all, if Nipuni hadn't told me.
Done. Bye.

4:01 PM
Waited until 3:00 (almost normal time)...to get sci textbook...luckily i got one...poor Nida, Assya and Hyra...they waited for so long and got nothing. Grrr. Mr. Zupo...was supposed to save 10 books for us. There was 8! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! IB Eppy #3: Will the sad IB kids who are waiting pointlessly in line for science textbooks get a copy? Will there be bloodshed in this vicious competition? Seriously man! And grrrrr...he promised us 10 textbooks too!
Sold candy at the candy shack w/ Shamima, Victor and Dani. It was quite fun. I had trouble setting up.
oh btw -- VOW stands for Victims of War -- our specific instructions from Nida were to pick up the till from where we would be lead to a somber room full of candy.
Shamima: We need the till for the VOW Candy Shack
Secretary: Okay. What candy shack?
Shamima: VOW Candy Shack?
Secretary: Do you have permission?
Shamima: Yes!
Secretary: Are you in charge?
Shamima: No.
Secretary: Okay...
*gets the till*
Shamima: Can we get the candy
Secretary: What candy
Shamima: For the candy shack.
Secretary: Which candy shack?
Shamima: VOW candy shack!
Secretary: You girls have to learn how to communicate.
Shamima: We were instructed that we would be lead automatically to a room.
We were lead to a room. Picked up the candy. Victor and Dani decided to set up the table for us. But before then we were bombarded by two brown kids who tried to rip us off (we didn't know the price then)...actually one of the kids were right about the choc. bars being $1. The other kid was wrong...the sour keys are not 15 cents! Laura tried bartering with us using CDs and what not to buy candy.
Me and Shamima saw the fake diplomas today for commencement.
Was not wearing a friday shirt in world issues. But Coram said it was a friday shirt so why argue? Went to the bathroom just before class started...then when I came back...everyone started laughing at the very confused me. Turns out that someone mistakeningly entered the classroom and left after giving a particularly confusing glance at the class. Thus, when I had entered subsequently, they decided to laugh at me. What's strange was that before I entered the class, I had mistakenly entered rm 312 (my TOK class). Strange coincedence or fate? YOU DECIDE!
Done. Bye.

Great. I'm off to a bad start in french. And why does Shamima complain when I say that...she after all, got perfect on that test.
I have small muscle deformations. That's why I shake when I write something. I can't cut straight either. Nor can I sew. I can't open certain packages either. Like ketchup packets...without using my teeth...except I don't like using my teeth.
Did well on math test! Improved by 8 marks from last test and 11 marks by the one before that. And its all from visiting Ms. Li after school, Pringz ;).
Mock Trial in TOK...it rocks! Its so funny too!
Mr. Zupo really confuses me.
There's a secret entrance to room 312. Only a selective few know how to get to it ;).
----
Love you too Pringol, hun! *hugs*
you all sicken me!
Done. Bye.

I was the victim during lunch. Actually I made Salimah the victim for a while...but I didn't enjoy that much, because I like being the victim.
I hate arcview. It is so confusing.
Bleh. French.
Bleh, everything.
I have headaches, and hunger pangs. I can't concentrate. My head pounds. I get sleepy. My stomach starts hurting. I can't concentrate. I can't concentrate. I go absolutely out of my mind during class sometimes. Especially math. No wonder I'm doing bad.

I hate school. I'm doing so poorly. Its understable as it is now the real IB program...but still...ahhh I'm so screwed. Well at least I don't have english...those ppl are really really screwed, but you know, I will have it next semester so I'm generally still screwed.
Pringz, where are you? I want to talk to you! Sign in on MSN!
Looked at ratemyteachers.ca during philo. Me, Meeju, and Hanyue laughed so hard at the comments (esp. for Ms. Q as it said "Gooood teacher...whoops -0.5 for spelling"). I'm surprised Ms. Q or that other teacher never suspected we weren't preparing for the mock trial. Actually, Ms. Q was talking to some kid from her gr. 10 history class about some project but the kid got so angry that he knocked his chair over forcefully and left. Wow. And there are IB kids like this.
Pre-IB...same thing.
Sat at the caf for the first time in a long time w/ Hanyue and Doris and we talked about the US election which is by far more interesting than the Canadian one.
Me and Pringol were walking to the per. 4 classes when we saw Suran and I tried pushing her into him again but alas I failed. I was very, very, very close though.
I gotta study for biology. If one week, I don't have a math test -- I have a bio test. And vice versa. Ahhhh! Die IB ! DIE!
No christmas songs yet on 97.3...maybe have to wait after rememberance day...we'll see.
Someone is coming to our house...Wingy's house too...oh happy day.
Done. Bye.

Saturday:
Great fun! I went to Brampton but the highways were all blocked. Utterly blocked. It was pathetic. No one was moving...took about 2 hours for a 1 hour trip. Visited Milroy Uncle and his kids (whom I pity...really...its a long story...if I were them I'd prob. need about an infinite amount of therapy...stuff like this doesn't happen often in tamil families). Also saw Abigail...she's so chubby! and cute!
Youth Service: Sunday
Absolutely amazing...don't mean to brag...but we all rocked. Things couldn't have gone better. The dance, the drama and the song was great. And it was fun being part of this production and all. Getting CAS hours is just a bonus. I kind of miss going to practices now and laughing my head off but yea...its great memories. The drama too came out better than I had expected even though I wasn't really involved in it. Everyone laughed when Rojas was drunk and everyone cried when Shironika and Judy cried...everyone just got so into it. Jennika was telling me how she was laughing when Godfrey was crying.
A damper was put on things because of a little issue that I will not mention here, and it has absolutely nothing to do with me but the infrastructure of our church. Wingy might know what I'm talking about.
Today:
I was sick today...didn't feel too well...math is hard! Very hard! But no Pringol, I didn't visit Ms. Li today after school. Bertha and Shamima are going to enter the multicultural show singing a Japanese song! Me and Hanyue will provide back up rythmn on the maracas.
Me and Hyra were talking about forming new colour graphing calculators that will soon replace computers. Bill Gates, you're going down!
Done. Bye.
